Meet Gina



I am one of those people who is fortunate enough to love what I do.

My work in real estate began in the late 1980’s when I began renting my own properties. The first 10 years was a period of much learning: crisis management; troubleshooting; diplomatic firmness all came to the fore.

In 1999, I took the first step of my journey in the Real Estate world when I began working at a local agency in Geelong West, gaining my full Licence in 2002.

Since then it has proven to be a varied, interesting and satisfying career, with a few twists and turns along the way. Full time property management quickly followed from those early days, and I found myself enjoying the management of a large portfolio.

In time, staff training took on as much importance in my career as property management, as I became a tutor at Gordon TAFE. Now I am also an off campus tutor at the BRIT TAFE, teaching all modules for a new student to commence work in the industry, and I offer staff training as part of my own business.

I enjoy learning as much as teaching, and have remained committed to my own professional development throughout the years.

I love working with people, and the pleasure of helping create positive solutions for agents and clients drives my continued enthusiasm for my work. What’s inspiring me now is the relief property management and staff training work I do around Geelong and the Western District, with its variety and challenges.

I’m committed to being a contributing member of the industry too, and I am proud to be a delegate for the REIV Geelong Division Committee, Delegate to REIV Member’s Council, member of REIV Property Management Chapter, and have been a part of the Geelong Division Property Management Interest Group since 1999.

I have a small, but busy office of five staff, when one of them is away on holidays or is sick for an extended time it is very hard to have the other staff cover for them.
